About Sarah Dalton

Hi, I'm Sarah Dalton, the owner and head trainer of Dalton's Bullies L.L.C.

I'm an Army veteran and professional dog trainer with a passion for helping dogs and their owners build a better relationship through clear communication, structure, and consistency.

My journey in dog training came from a genuine love for dogs and a desire to help owners understand that training is about much more than teaching a dog to sit or stay. It's about creating a dog that can function confidently in the real world and an owner who knows how to communicate with their dog long after training ends.

I work with dogs of all breeds, with a particular passion for bully breeds and the dogs that are often misunderstood simply because of their appearance or reputation. Every dog is an individual, and I believe training should be tailored to the dog in front of me — not based on breed stereotypes or a one-size-fits-all program.

My training focuses on practical obedience, impulse control, leash manners, reliable recall, place work, neutrality, and real-world behavior. I use a combination of clear communication, positive reinforcement, structure, and appropriate training tools when needed. My goal is not to create a dog that only behaves during a training session. My goal is to create a dog that understands what is expected of them in everyday life.

I also believe owners are a huge part of the training process. That's why I don't just train your dog and send them home. I teach you how to continue the work, understand your dog, and maintain the results we build together.
